2023 marks Diagsol’s 25th year and it’s shaped up to be a busy one for us. As we continue to grow, we’re delighted to have expanded the team with the welcome addition of Ben Trussell. Ben joins us as a PdM Implementation Engineer, strengthening our capacity and bringing some exciting experience to our collective expertise.
Ben’s varied career makes him a perfect fit for his new role, which involves implementation work, installing IIOT sensors and collecting vibration data and providing on-site consultancy to customers as well as implementing online systems.
Ben explains: “My background has mostly been centred around manufacturing engineering, automotive work, and the motorsport sector. I was brought up on a farm so have always had a knack for fixing things!
“I’m really excited by my new role and returning to my engineering roots. I’m an engineering nerd at heart so I’m really happy to be back in this field. I’m also a bit of a perfectionist, so working with PdM and in this sector is ideal. I’m really looking forward to developing my skill set further and integrating into the team here at Diagsol. There’s a lot to learn and I’m keen to get stuck in!”
Ben lives in Coedpoeth, near Wrexham, with his wife Becci and their rescue dog, Haggis the Whippet. They both enjoy attending motorsport events, walking the dog and spending time in their ever-expanding garden. Still enthusiastic about all things automotive, Ben has an old Mk2 VW Golf that he’s owned for many years, which he enjoys tinkering with when time allows.
